Account verification is the process of verifying that a new or existing account is owned and operated by a specified real individual and can enhance the quality of online services, mitigating bots, trolling or spam. Verified accounts are often visually distinguished by check mark icons or a tag next to name.
It is imperative to enable and use verification methods in order to block accounts with false information from being created.
Activate System through the Checkbox next to section title and Save Changes.
Skip Verification for: Option to remove verification requirement by user role.
Support Type: Define if the support link will be internal to a site page or external to a specific link.
Support Page Link: Input the internal page or external link where support can be provided.
Verification Requests Limit: Define the limit of verification requests
First Verification Time Gap (m): Define time interval for first verification request.
Verification Time Gap (m): Define interval between verification requests after first was sent.
Email Verification Method: Choose verification method in email, with link or code.
Activation Link Email Subject: Customize the subject of the activation email to be sent.
Activation Link Message: Customize the body of the activation email to be sent.
Enable Activation Timeframe: Tick checkbox to define if the account has to be activated in a certain timeframe.
Activation Timeframe (hours): Set up activation deadline.
Remove User if not Verified: Delete unverified account.
Display Verified Tag inside Dashboard: Show verified tag in dashboard after activation.
Reset Section Settings using the checkbox and Save Changes button in order to remove database entries.
