A payment gateway is a technology used by merchants to accept debit or credit card purchases from customers. The term includes not only the physical card-reading devices found in brick-and-mortar retail stores but also the payment processing portals found in online stores. However, brick-and-mortar payment gateways in recent years have begun accepting phone-based payments using QR codes or Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.
Activate System through the Checkbox next to section title and Save Changes.
Custom Payment Gateways feature can be found in the WooCommerce > Settings >Payments Tab > Advanced Settings button next to the Payment Methods.
Total Number of Gateways: Define total number of gateways
Gateway # – Depending on the gateways number several options will be available for each gateway
Enable/Disable: Turn on on or off option.
Admin Title Custom Gateway: Title of the payment gateway.
Visibility By Roles: Make gateway visible depending on user role (Affiliate, Author, Contributor, Customer, Editor, Employee, Shop manager, Subscriber, Visitor).
Reset Section Settings using the checkbox and Save Changes button in order to remove database entries.
